The poor old man’s eagle and proud engineer’s magnificent structure

“Cursed is the ground because of you;through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field” Genesis 3:18-19

The popular engineer successfully designed and built the world’s beautiful, magnificent, stylish and the tallest building attracting millions of visitors every day. The proud engineers went to look the crowd of visitors. Among the visitors was also a poor old man with his pet eagle in his shoulders in front of the tallest structures gate. The proud engineer looked down upon the shabby clothed poor man and his eagle with disgust.

The poor man kissed his eagle in the head and released it from his hands.  It flew higher round about the tallest building. Other visitors were busy with cell phones, camera and binoculars. The eagle stood at the top of the building for a brief moment. The crowd was laughing among each other. The proud popular engineer borrowed the binoculars to see what eagle had done to bring loud laughter among the public visitors. The sight was humiliating for the proud engineer. The eagle was excreting at the top of his building tower. Feeling embarrassed he drove back to his home.

Next the eagles excreting activity on the worlds most beautiful, magnificent, stylish and tallest building was broadcasted in TV news and news papers shared the humorous news.  It was circulated in the internet. Soon the incident became the common household joke among the people of the whole world.

The proud engineer though very popular surely was embarrassed and regretted looking down upon the poor old man at the gate.

Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.  Proverbs 14:31
