His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. John 9:2-3
There was a blind, deaf and dumb lady that was born in the Christian family. The family had really taken good care of her and accepted her as she was born. She was married to a gentle devoted Christian man. She lived up to 120 years and experienced her children and grand children.
At 120 years she fell her heart stopped for a certain moment and she died. Soon she was resurrected in the Spirit. She could see a man speaking to her and she was surprised because she thought all humans were like her just communicating with feelings and touch. She thought she was still in earth and had woken up after a deep sleep. But now she could see, hear and speak. The man introduced himself as Jesus. Since Jesus was the first man she saw with her eyes and heard his voice with ear, she thought he must be her long departed husband and she started crying. Later on Jesus explained her everything. Jesus also became the first person she had spoken.
Jesus concluded his explanations with these words,”I was always with you when you could not see, hear and speak. I protected you. But now you can see, hear and speak to me here in Heaven. You are that child of GOD who never sinned with eyes, ears and mouth”.
If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell
