Christ and Krishna, Achilles and Krishna

Christianity and Muslim is the extension of ancient Judaism religion. Buddhism is totally new religion as it is has norms completely different from other religion. So neither is Christ nor Mohammad and Buddha related to Hinduism along with it’s deities namely Krishna. Another reason is that Hinduism has 330 million of deities, so we don’t get the grasp of any godhead deities.

Etymological between Christ and Krishna

Language and meaning

The name Jesus Christ is the Greek translation of Hebrew name Yeshua Messiah. Yeshua means salvation and Messiah means anointed one or the chosen one of GOD. In Greek Jesus means salvation and Christ means anointed one or the chosen one of GOD. So we can see that name Jesus Christ is the translated form of Yeshua Messiah. The followers of Jesus knew only Hebrew, Greek and Latin languages at that time.  Thomas, one of the twelve disciples travelled to South India quickly after death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ but was arrowed to death while proclaiming gospel. He spoke to Indians in Greek and Latin as in that era greek and latin were widely spread language and Indians of that time were quite familiar with them especially after the Great Alexandre’s war against India.

There is connection of Hebrew and Greek language to Christ but Sanskrit language of India has not connection with the name Jesus Christ.

The name Krishna is a Sanskrit language means black, dark or even dark blue. The prince was named after color and appearance of his race Yadavs.

Spelling and pronunciation

Christ starts with Ch followed with ris and ending with alphabet t. Krishna starts with K followed by rish ending with alphabet na.

Christ- Ch as in Kh of Gengis Khan, ris without h sound and T as in tap.

Krishna-K as in cow, Kangaroo,  rish with the h sound and na as in banana

This is how it can be pronounced if anyone knows to read hindi:

Christ  = ख्रीष्ट

Krishna= कृष्ण

Numerical value

Hebrew and Greek letters have numeral value of each letters.

Yeshua Messia(Hebrew)           =318

Jesus Christ(Greek)      =318

Sanskrit letters have no numerical properties. Hence we really do not know the numerical value of Krishna.

Christian and Krishna

First time bible mentions about the term Christian is in Book of Acts 11:26” and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.”

Antioch is in Greece. Many Jews of Judaism, Greeks of Greece religion and Romans of Rome religion believed in Jesus Christ. They started calling themselves followers of Jesus Christ and were called as Christians by non-believers meaning followers of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ Greek translation of Hebrew name Yeshua Messiah.

Christain is derived from Christ meaning followers of Jesus Christ. Followers of Christ were called Christian just after some years of Christ’s death, resurrection and ascension.

It is similar to coining Buddhists derived from Buddha-followers of Siddhartha Gauthama Buddha.

We are in confusion of what the followers of Krishna called. Hindus are related to civilization in Indu River also called Indus Valley civilization. Later it was recognized as Sindus followed by Hindus. India was once called Bharat different from Indus and Hindus. But still they prefer to say India and Hindustan. Krishna is closely related with Bharat as he was involved in dark practices of breaking the war laws to win the battle against Kauravas in favour of Pandavas in the scripture of Mahabharat. He had supported Kauravas with his warriors but became charioteers for Pandavas. In a process he brought lot of pain and grief to his fellow citizens by providing the army to the losing Kauravas while leading battle for the winning Pandavas. So he earned fame with both the parties by conspiring very cleverly. As a consequence he lost many followers.

Krishna as prince, warrior, counselor belonging Ksytriya clan, can be known to have battling followers than the religious ones. He had 16,100 concubine and 8 wives and became very powerful enough to support his followers especially Pandavas to win war but had supported Kauravas with his army. His original followers fought the battle of Kurukshetra and died leaving only households in Brindavan, Hastianapur, Ayodya, Rajastan among many others. Hence ruler as those times were said to be incarnation of god, and Krishna’s historical events say that he restored his lost kingdom, freed his citizens from cruel uncle Kamsa, slaughtered the giants having magical powers and tamed the evil dragon with great musical and dance talent. Even Brahmins started the legacy of worship to the great Ksetriya king hunted down to death by hunter. But after the battle of Kurukshetra, Krishna lost his kingdom and were unsupported by people, sons and sages due to which he lived a banished life in the lonely forest. He had assigned his followers Pandavas to look after the palace in Dwarika but the Pandavas did not care about his instruction and left to start new life in the Himalayas.

 Christianity and Krishna

Christianity is the name of religion, Krishna is a name of a person. Christains are followers of Christianity where as Krishna was follower of Hinduism. Krishna died while he was shot by an arrow by hunter while meditating under a tree during his lonely last days at age of 89 or 125 years which is still confusing and debates.

Many followers of Krishna argue that Christianity is Krishna Neeti.

First let us pronounce Christianity. Ch is pronounced as Kh in Gengis Khan, thee is no na word in Christianity, ty in Christianity is pronounce as Tea in nity. ity is a English and french suffix to Christian. The word Christianity refers to members of Christian followers just as member of community and nationality. The suffix nity simple means being in condition or quality.

The word Krishna neeti never appears in religious text nor does the group name of Krishna’s followers. K in Krishna is pronounced as c in cow and K in Kangaroo. Neeti is pronounced as neeti in Rajneeti. Neeti is not a suffix but it’s a independent Sanskrit word meaning policy and principles. Krishnaneeti simply means policy of Krishna which has complete difference in the meaning from Christianity.

Christianity does not have any policy of Krishnaneeti.

According to Mahabharata the follower of Krishna particularly Pandavas actually went to hell.

Death, Burial, Resurrection and Ascension.

Jesus died on cross due to the false accusation from Jews and Gentiles (people other than Jews.) Crucified to a wooden cross (in ancient times guilty people were hanged on tree but at the time of Jesus it was even harsher to hang on the wooden cross). His feet and hands were nailed to the wooden cross. According to scripture he died for the curse that had fallen on mankind. So purpose of his death was to redeem mankind from curse which brings death. He died and was buried. He went to depths of hell and preached some prisoner souls. Later he resurrected, spent at least 40 more days with disciples and ascended to heaven in cloud in the presence of angels visible to his followers.

Krishna was killed due to curse of a woman and sages for his craftiness and disloyalty. He lost his Kingdom Dwarika, his followers become alcoholic and they died. Even the sons, daughters and wives of Krishna died and disciples and warriors died in a battle. Finally went to forest where he was shot by arrow on his feet and died. It is said his soul went to Vaikuntha. Vaikuntha is under sea which is not heaven as we know Siva resided in high hills and Brahama in sky but Vishnu dwells in sea. So we don’t see resurrection to life and acesion in Krishna’s death story. His enemies think that he was burned to death according to the scripture.

Virgin Birth

Jesus Christ was purely out of virgin birth as per the scriptures. He was the firstborn son. According to scriptures Jesus was the only deity born of virgin. Joseph got engaged but found that Mary was already pregnant in virginity. So he did not marry her and had no sex to reproduce other children. He married two other women to allow Mary to stay virgin according to the History of Joseph the Carpenter.

Krishna’s mother had already lost her virginity and given birth to seven sons. Krishna was the youngest son.  The scripture claims of a virgin birth but how a woman who already had sex birthing to seven sons be a virgin before Krishna be a virgin.

At the age of twelve Jesus is portrayed as discussing with the teachers and wise men. Then there is nothing mentioned in the New Testament. Some of the testimonies in infancy gospels of Thomas, James, Matthew states that Jesus was no ordinary child. He had carried out so many miracles in childhood and people were in awe of his power.  Jesus liked to catch fishes and walked with lions. He brought clay birds to life and raised the dead people as per the infancy gospels.

But the Old Testament says of his childhood. According to Isaiah prophecy in 11 child Jesus was a shepherd of sheep, lamb, goat, calf, ox and cow and took them all the way to wilderness full of wild animals such as lion, bear, leopard, wolf etc. He played around the cobra’s den and viper’s nest. During his shepherd work no wild animals threatened domestic animals and they played, rested and ate together, wild animals ate grass like the domestic cattle. The snakes would not enjoy coming near him but he still played around their dens and disrupted their nest. People were scared about his this kind of behavior.  He fed on milk, butter and honey during early infancy before able to eat solid food.

Krishna was a shepherd boy of a cow who played flute to charm animals and friends. He fought with demons. He tamed wild snake. He liked playing ball games. He had girl friend called Radha, so he romanced with her during his teenage. He hid the clothes of woman and peeped to watch their nakedness while bathing in river. He broke the water pots. He grew up eating mud, curd and woman’s milk. He had a bad habit of stealing curds to fulfill his hunger which earned him a nickname “Makhan Chor”(curd thief). People said they had not seen such a naughty kid in their life. Krishna was makhan chor, enjoyed teasing girls while they were naked in river bath.

Marriage and sex life

The scripture says Jesus did not marry and have sexual intercourse. He maintained his celibacy.

The scripture says Krishna had 16,100 concubines and 8 wives. He had sons and daughters. His favorite was Radha- childhood partner. Now can anyone imagine number of son and daughter Krishna begotted out of 16,100 concubines and 8 wives? The scripture doesn’t mention about his total number of children apart from few of his famous children among his people.

Power and miracles

Jesus performed power, miracles, signs and wonders. Healed sick people, raised dead to life, cast the demons out of the people’s body, transfigured, changed water to wine, preached the gospel with authority and power. Any people who had faith and touched his clothes were healed. Told parables, stories and teachings to make people understand godly ways. He fed thousands with bread and fish.

Krishna carried the mountain to safe people from the wrath of Indra, killed demons, danced in hood of a dragon, showed whole world at his mouth, provided clothes to Draupadi, won the battles by killing thousands of enemies, taught people of war, spoke wise words to the warriors. Once he ate all the offering made by thousands of people.

Krishna is prototype to Achilles in many aspects

Krishna is similar to Greek son of GOD Achelles where he dies after being shot in feet by arrowed by enemy. Death and life of Krishna is more of kind of warrior son of god Achelles from Greek ancient religion than Jesus Christ of Jews.

Krishna is similar to Greek son of GOD Achelles where he dies after being shot in feet by arrowed by enemy. Death and life of Krishna is more of kind of warrior son of god Achelles from Greek ancient religion than Jesus Christ of Jews.

Achilles was son of god, a warrior, prince and finally died by the arrow shot in heel like that of Krishna. So Krishna is a more of a prototype of Achilles than that of Jesus Christ.

Achilles meaning Achos(sad, grief) and Laos(nation, tribe). Achilles sometimes got very angry where he turned black and dark like name of Krishna. The anger brought grief to Achilles kingdom in the form of curse that would kill Achilles in a very young age.  Achilles life was in continuous danger like Krishna. Achilles died by arrow shot on heals and soul went to other world like that of Krishna. Both did not rise to life from death. Achilles died at the age of 32 and Krishna is also thought be died in youth of 89, 104 or 125 years in Dwaparyuga whereas Christ died in 33 years.

They had sex with woman to give birth to son. While Krishna had uncountable sons and daughters, Achilles has one world-famous son name Nepotelmous. Both Achilles and Krishna are greatest warriors of their times and were immortalized as gods by their kinsmen.

By this aspect, Krishna is more like Achilles of Greeks than of Jesus Christ of Jews

Krishna started gaining fame and trust from Mathura district and his fighting skills were well-recognized as the Achilles in Greece was recognized for his bravery against fighting and killing the strong giants.

Achilles also attracted and mated many women due to his bravery and wisdom like Krishna.

Krishna  abducted Rukumani, Vidarba princess pledged to his cousin like Achilles had abducted princess Brieses (Rose Byrne) cousin of Trojan princes Hector and Paris to make a wife. Achilles was also prince leader for the warriors and won many battles.

The death of Krishna is like that of Achilles who was shot by arrow in the heel to death. Achilles was killed by his abducted wives brother. The insincerity and anger of Achilles had created problem among his own relatives.

Christian Protesters Clash with Police in India’s Delhi

Hundreds of Christian protesters clashed with police in India’s capital on Thursday as they pressed demands for government protection amid concern about rising intolerance after a series of attacks on churches.

Demonstrators were pulled on to police buses as they tried to march from one of New Delhi’s largest cathedrals near parliament to the residence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Political rivals have accused the ruling Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party of exploiting religious divisions in the run-up to state elections in Delhi at the weekend.

Police have imposed an emergency law known as Section 144 which prohibits gatherings. About 200 police were stationed outside the cathedral while several hundred protesters were inside, a Reuters photographer said.

“All that we are asking is ‘what are the police doing? What is the government doing?,'” said one protester who gave his name as Garry. Christians wanted proper security and safety, he said.

Singh tweeted that he met Christian leaders on Thursday to assure them he would not tolerate any discrimination.

He added that he promised an independent investigation into the church attacks and said he has asked the police to ensure the security of churches and other places of worship.

A spokesman for Delhi police did not respond to a request for comment.

Five churches in the capital have reported incidents of arson, vandalism and burglary. The latest was reported on Monday when an individual stole ceremonial items.

In December, a Catholic church in north Delhi was gutted in a fire in a case of suspected arson.

In December, a BJP minister, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, told an election rally non-Hindus were “bastards.” She later apologized.

U.S. President Barack Obama warned on a visit to India last week that the country’s success depended on it not splintering along religious lines.

Religious conversions have become a divisive political issue since hardliners with links to the BJP said Hinduism was under threat and started a campaign to convince Christians and Muslims to change their faith.

About a fifth of India’s 1.27 billion people identify themselves as belonging to faiths other than Hinduism.

Parents who wanted son instead of daughter….

Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals. Genesis 2:19-20

Wisdom Carrier said a story to a parents who had named their daughter a Son. The parents had named her Son because they wanted son but God had given them daughter. They were unhappy to have a daughter.

Wisdom Carrier began the story with tears in his eyes. As he told the story he would often sob loudly. He then started saying the story:

A young boy found a puppy in the street feeding on the pile of garbage. Filled with love, the young boy picked it up and took him home. He named it Tiger.

As the puppy grew younger he was happy when he was called as Tiger. Then one day the dog met another she-dog named Shally after it grew old. Shally revealed Tiger that they were dogs not some wild animals like tiger living in the forest and enemy towards dogs. Tiger was angry against his human owner for naming it Tiger as tigers feed on dogs as well.

Unable to speak in human language, he would bark loud whenever the owner called him Tiger. It did not go close when he called him by the name Tiger.

This happened for a week until one day the owner was too disgusted by the change of the behavior in his dog. Then he shouted, ” You Dog come here”. Suddenly Tiger came close to him wagging it’s tail. The owner was happy that his dog came to him when he was called in angry voice.

Another day, the owner called in a loud voice, “You Tiger come here”. This time the dog barked loudly at him and did not come closer.

Th owner thought ‘whats wrong with this stupid dog now a days’ and called with angry voice “You stupid Dog come here”. Then Tiger again went close to him wagging it’s tail.

The owner came to know that his dog did not like the name Tiger after the similar incidence happened for few months and named it Dog.

Shally one day met with Dog. Dog said the story of his changed name. Dog said, “I barked him saying I am not a tiger but a dog”.

Shally said “It’s nice that your owner heard you barking and not roaring.”

The parents started to love their daughter and named her Shally upon hearing the story. Tears started flowing through Shally’s eyes when her parents started treated her as daughter and not a son.

Only the picture of ‘CROSS’ the news article

The following Nepali article was published in number one online Nepali news portal entitled ‘deadliest methods of death sentences’. It is adapted from Agencies.

I looked the whole article just because CROSS was the picture for the article.

But there was nothing written about the severe death sentence ‘CROSS’.

However I was head over heels with picture of ‘CROSS’ because picture speaks more than thousand words.

Though other were written in thousand words, the picture of ‘CROSS’ will remain in reader’s mind. It will some how cross the mind of the reader some day.

Never alone….

So do not fear, for I am with you;do not be dismayed, for I am your God I will strengthen you and help you;I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Once a father wanted to taste his son’s manhood. He took his son in to the forest blindfolded and left him alone. The son was required to sit on a stump the whole night and not to take off the blindfold until the ray of sunshine got through it. He had to remain all by himself. He could not cry out for help to anyone. Once he survived the night the night –he would become a man. He was not allowed to tell the other boys of this experience. Each boy had to come into his own manhood.

As this boy was all alone he was terrified. He could hear all kinds of noise as if beasts were all around him. He was afraid that may even some human would hurt him. The wind blew the grass and earth…and it shook his stump. But he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could be a man.

Finally after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold. It was then that he saw his father sitting on the stump next to him to watch the entire night.

We are never truly alone. Even when we do not know it, our Father God, family and friend are watching out for us sitting on a stump beside us.

Cast mountain to ocean!!!!!HOW?

“TrulyI tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.(Mark 11:23)

In Nepal there was a massive landslides in one of its district Sindhupalchok where two big hills faced the slides together. Between the hills was a river called Sunkoshi River.

On searching the causes of the landslides by the geographic engineers it was discovered that

1: The hills had been weak due to the holes made by the various burrowing animals such as snakes, rabbits, foxes and the water forces.

2:  The continuous heavy rainfall weaken the hills due to moisture.

3: The overflow of the Sunkoshi river caused the weakening of hills on their bases.

All the above reasons were GOD’s way of dealing with the massive hills.

This proves there is nothing impossible for GOD and he can move mountains in a way that pleases HIM according to HIS method.

One of the ways he rejoices in removing the troubling mountains is through faith and prayer. The faith that pleases GOD to a degree that mountains be cast out into the ocean.

It is sure there must be lot of mountains and hills near the circumference of Galilee Sea and Red Sea at the time of Jesus. Jesus made clear to disciples that GOD is pleased to see faith heroes who can have control over nature too.

It is not that our faith move mountains but our faith pleases GOD to be in action to remove the mountains which can either be life’s difficult moments or the real mountains seen in the rural and city scapes.

A new name….why does GOD give it to us?

“The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will give” (Isaiah 62:2).

Abram to Abraham
Sara to Sarah
Jacob to Israel
Hosea to Joshua
Simon to Peter
Saul to Paul

GOD has a way of changing us according to the name HE assigns us.

Many people  still residing in this earth are renamed, be it celebrity, sportsman, literary figure or a rural boy.

However when GOD changes name, HE means to change us to live up to that name.

A young boy was renamed to a Christian name in the South Asian Country where majority of the people are Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim.

Wherever he went, he itroduced himself with that Christian name he had received. Once the introduction was done, the others would question, “Are you a Christian”. He was easily identified as a follower of LORD Jesus Christ.

“You shall leave your name to my chosen for a curse, and the Lord GOD will put you to death, but his servants he will call by another name” (Isaiah 65:15).
